Position Summary:

As the Associate Recruiter, you will play an essential role in fueling Bimbo’s growth with extraordinary talent. The Associate Recruiter will be responsible for developing staffing strategies to provide a qualified and diverse candidate pool for assigned requisitions. You will ensure hiring manager and team preparedness during the interview process and that interviews are conducted efficiently and professionally. This position demands an uncommon balance of creativity and drive, along with interpersonal savvy and analytical skills. You must have a proven ability to consistently and positively contribute in a high-paced, changing work environment as well as the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work time efficiently.

The Associate Recruiter is responsible for owning and managing the full recruitment life cycle, hiring positions at all levels within the organization. Responsibilities will include serving as a business partner with various levels of leadership to proactively identify organizational hiring needs. Will develop and execute recruitment strategies to network and hire the most qualified candidates, conduct initial candidate interviews and manage candidates through the interview process.

This position is a part of the NA Talent Team and recruits across multiple business functions.

The main focus of this position is to recruit for Bimbo’s Transportation requisitions within our Central and West Business units.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with HR Managers and Hiring Managers to fully understand staffing needs and related talent profiles.
  • Fleet Maintenance and Transport Driver recruitment experience is highly preferred.
  • Juggles and successfully manages multiple job requisitions across a variety of roles
  • Administer and execute recruitment processes to hire for current openings and proactively develop a pipeline for future talent.
  • Target passive and active candidates utilizing an array of tools and outlets including refined Boolean searches, resume mining databases, media leads, internet search, advanced search engines syntax, and social media.
  • Create innovative sourcing strategies to provide a qualified and diverse candidate pool for assigned requisitions through sourcing passive candidates, networking, complex internet searches, and employee referrals.
  • Prepare candidates for interviewing by providing detailed information on the company, department background, job descriptions, and expectations.
  • Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about BBU and the position.
  • Review candidate resumes, credentials, and perform initial phone screens for appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements.
  • Develop strong relationships and partner with the hiring manager, business leaders, and HR
  • Work with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
  • Achieve high levels of internal customer satisfaction based on the creation of intentional and consistent feedback loop.

Education and Work History:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related preferred
  • 1-3 years of Recruiting experience in a corporate environment
  • A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted
  • Excellent sourcing skills with the ability to use numerous creative techniques and channels to identify quality candidates, including social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter)
  • Must have experience working with an Applicant Tracking System
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a team environment, managing multiple clients, and providing consultative skills throughout the recruitment lifecycle
  • Ability to consistently and positively contribute in a fast-paced, changing work environment as well as the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks and manage work time efficiently.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
