Associate Program Manager, Eskind Diabetes Clinic

Your Role:

Assists in planning, coordinating and executing programs with some guidance.

This position will create a streamlined coordinated care approach for patients who have been identified with bone fragility fracture concerns by inpatient or other referring providers. Candidates with a familiarity with Adrenal, Thyroid and Bone diseases are highly desired. The individual hired is responsible but not limited to the following tasks:

  • Obtaining relevant medical records, imaging, labs, etc. in advance of appointments.
  • Scheduling appointments in Endocrinology or Rheumatology and coordinating additional workup with departments such as Radiology, and injections or infusions.
  • Pre and post visit patient communication
  • Coordinating communication with applicable care team members (internal and external)

Department Summary:

The Vanderbilt Eskind Diabetes Center is an internationally acclaimed facility that offers comprehensive care to both adults and children with diabetes. It offers a team approach to care that includes diabetes specialists, diabetes educators and nutritionists. For teenagers with diabetes, it also provides a seamless transition from pediatric to adult care.

The Vanderbilt Eskind Diabetes Center is one of only three diabetes centers in the U.S. accredited by the American Diabetes Association for treating adult, children's and gestational diabetes. We are one of the top five diabetes centers nationally for number of patients treated.

Position Shift:

The clinic is open Monday – Friday; 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

  • Provides support for the creation, coordination and execution of the program.
  • Assists in budgetary management for the program(s).

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) and < 1 year relevant experience.
