We are looking for a collaborative Associate Product Operations Specialist.


Are you a detail-oriented team player that enjoys supporting others with a competitive spirit to win? As an Associate Product Operations Specialist serving our K-12 School Business Unit revenue and sales, you will provide support to the Product Operations Team in a variety of ways inclusive of pricing validation, data entry, data verification that contributes to bids and proposal projects for products and services that are used daily by millions of educators and students.


What you will be doing

  • Assist in the creation and management of ISBNs and part numbers for revenue opportunities.
  • Complete ISBN setup for eCommerce enablement uploading marketing copy.
  • Support various tasks needed for maintenance of ISBNS as part of product life cycle management.
  • Proof and/or create bills of materials for various packages needed by sales and marketing.
  • Aid with data entry/proofing of catalog titles, prices, and product information in the pricing database.
  • Create and/or proof price lists and report.
  • Assist team with annual price increase project.
  • Assist in creating source documents for state and district level bids and proposals.
  • Proof source documents and bids as requested.
  • Master using internal databases; understand its value and capabilities to effectively carryout assignments and provide trustworthy support
  • Establish and maintain relationships with associated teams and other departments, providing routine task support as in specific projects as needed.
  • Able to use project management and tracking tools (Excel, Smartsheets)
  • Teamwork/collaboration, across teams and departments
  • Assist in maintaining procedures/training folders on the share drive


We’re looking for someone with

  • BS/BA required.
  • Ability to quickly learn and be comfortable working in multiple databases.
  • Experience in completing multiple, multi-staged projects simultaneously, and set priorities.
  • Ability to problem-solve and demonstrate superior attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
  • Possess strong teamwork and customer service orientations and a desire to win
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to successfully work with a cross functional teams and individuals.
  • Background in the educational industry and how products are created is a plus.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Pivot tables and V/H-lookup is a plus.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Word, Outlook, Internet, and Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Teams and Zoom. SharePoint, Smartsheet or other multi-user/project management programs helpful


Work Model:

Hybrid work model for the Ohio Valley region; can easily travel/commute to the Columbus, Ohio office upon request several times annually.
Note: This role will be filled as a 12-month Project Status Worker (PSW) designation. (Continuation possible with full benefit package eligibility)
