Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) will perform a variety of complex and technical analytical duties relating to contracts and procurement for the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC).The AGPA must communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and is expected to exercise a high degree of organizational skill, initiative, and independence in performing the assigned tasks.

Our Oakland office is located in downtown Oakland, two blocks from the Oakland City Center/12th Street BART station. Within walking distance are delis, burrito and sandwich shops, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai and Italian restaurants, barbecue, cheesesteaks, pizza, coffee shops and fast-food restaurants.

The incumbent will work 40 hours per week in an office setting equipped with standard office equipment. Air conditioned, in a high-rise building with elevator access, cubicle with natural and artificial lighting.
