Position Summary

The Assistant Property Manager assists the Property Manager in oversight operations to ensure compliance with organizational policies, practices and procedures.

Essential Duties

· Adhere to Rocky Mountain Communities (RMC) processes and procedures.

· Perform duties in compliance with all applicable fair-housing, federal, state and local statutes, and in compliance with all loan, grant or program requirements.

· Responsible for receivables and tenant records, both manual and computerized.

· Receive and record housing charges, rents, fees and other charges; deposit funds.

· Provide back up support to the Leasing Consultant, if applicable.

· Assist with regular site inspections to identify any issues or hazards that may impact residents, staff or asset.

· Assist in maintaining appropriate resident relations; participates in on-site activities.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· High School Diploma or equivalent required.

· Position requires a minimum of 3 years of previous low-income housing property experience.

· Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

· Present self in a neat, clean and professional manner at all times.

· Must possess a positive attitude and professional demeanor with all staff, residents and vendors.

· Regular attendance and punctuality are mandatory.

· Competence in computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook and community software applications.

· Participate in trainings in order to comply with new or existing laws.

Working Conditions

· This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment, such as a computer, photocopiers and telephones.

· Ability to climb stairs and walk in order to conduct regular site inspections.

· Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
