Assistant Manufacturing Manager Job at Topsider Building Systems, Inc.
Topsider Building Systems, Inc., designers and fabricators of high-end post & beam, timber frame residential and light commercial building components, and structures seeks candidates for Assistant Manufacturing Manager at its facilities in Clemmons, NC.
EDUCATION: Degree or equivalent experience in the same field.
BASIC CRITERIA:
- Minimum of five (5) years in manufacturing/production management in woodworking, furniture, production housing, or building component fabrication, ie, cabinet shop, wood furniture, etc., with background and experience in hands-on production management, operations, etc.
- Candidates must be computer literate (Word, Excel, etc.), able to read shop drawings, and have familiarity with lumber, plywood, and other common building materials as well as woodworking equipment.
- This is a manufacturing position, not a construction supervision or homebuilding position.
RESPONSIBILITIES: This position contemplates primary responsibility for a relatively small job-shop-type workforce divided into five departments, including shipping & receiving, and maintenance.
COMPENSATION: From $60k/year to start – depending on experience and qualifications.
