Job Description

Job Title: Full Time Assistant Manager, Lead Assistant or 2nd Assistant

Reports To: Store Manager

Summary: An Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager in motivating and inspiring their team to achieve a high level of performance in store productivity and metrics goals. Serves as a trainer and leader to all store employees. Consistently strives to meet and exceed all established presentation and service standards as well as sales and operational goals. This is executed by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors and employees.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following and duties may vary as assigned

· Hiring, training and developing new and existing employees

· Coordinate daily customer service operations (sales processes, fulfilment orders and payments)

· Oversees and supervises opening and closing store responsibilities which require cash control, including POS Operations, deposits, and general bookkeeping

· Motivating employees and ensuring a focus on Service and Presentation Standards

· Manages and participates in inventory control, store merchandise placement, stocking and other workload.

· Works with the staff to ensure that daily workload projects are managed and completed

· Track the progress of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual objectives

· Ensure company policies and standards are followed

· Complete and maintain annual training and development assignments

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Strong organization and leadership skills

· Previous retail experience a plus with 1-2 years supervisory or leadership role a plus

· Ability to understand customer questions and concern and responding back on a timely manner

· Basic visual merchandising skills along with basic knowledge of a retail store

· Basic math, verbal and written communication skills

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
