ASSISTANT MAINTENANCE needed to become a part of a Successful Property Team

The Assistant Maintenance, under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, Community Manager and working with other team members, in maintaining and overseeing the physical integrity, general maintenance, repairs, apartment make-ready, preventative maintenance, and construction/rehabilitation projects for the apartment community. This involves insuring a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and anyone else working or visiting the property.

Duties & Responsibilities

Diagnose and perform minor, routine maintenance and repairs, on a daily basis as directed.

• 
  Electrical and plumbing (including water lines)
• A/C and heating systems
• Appliances
• Stairs, gates, fences, patios, railings
• Interior/exterior lights
• Doors, cabinets, windows, sliding glass doors
• Boiler, gas and electric
• Locks
• Pool areas, pool furniture

Performs all needed repairs and services. Assist make-ready staff, as required to meet deadlines. Report all needs and major repair requisitions to Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. Keep current status of inventory levels of parts and supplies and inform Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager of items.

Perform any additional duties assigned by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

Position requires at least three years’ experience in apartment maintenance or related experience

Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and general building maintenance

HVAC Certification

Must have Valid Driver's License
