Basic Purpose:

Under the supervision of the Taylor Construction Equipment, Equipment Coordinator, this incumbent will provide support and assistance in keeping proper reporting of rental and sales equipment. Additionally, they will keep equipment records up to date, pricing current and posting equipment for sale on the company’s equipment tracking software. A key liaison with Taylor’s logistic division and the TCE sales team regarding freight quotes and equipment movement

Nature and Scope:

The Assistant Equipment Coordinator reports directly to the TCE Equipment Coordinator but will assist all the TCE employees (service and sales) and customers in providing world class customer support. They will work closely with the TCE sales team in quoting freight, organizing equipment movement, and making sure equipment is delivered and picked up in a timely manner. They will also assist the Equipment Coordinator in her daily tasks and long-term projects.

In all duties, the Assistant Equipment Coordinator will promote and enhance the company’s image by maintaining a neat personal appearance and by keeping the TCE facility neat and in orderly condition. The incumbent will be courteous to the customer and the customer’s employees and the incumbents work habits will include initiative and a positive attitude.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of new and used equipment on the company’s website.
  • Update of pricing on the company website
  • Maintain delivery and receiving reports within the company and with our equipment partners.
  • Tracking maintenance of equipment and PM scheduling
  • Assist the sales team with rental, sales, and leasing contracts.
  • Provide weekly inventory reports.
  • Liaison between the sales team and Taylor logistic on freight and freight quotes.
  • Maintain company Share Point Site.
Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • High School graduate or GED.
  • Microsoft Office suite of computer programs.
  • Internet and web proficient.
  • Independent and creative thinker
  • Hard working and dedicated
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record to be insurable by corporate insurance carrier.
  • Must meet physical demands of job which includes stooping, bending, climbing, twisting, and capability of lifting up to 50 lbs.
