• Starting pay is $18.50/hr. After training, the pay increases to $19.00
• $0.50 increases every 6 months

• Schedule during orientation is Mon-Fri 6:30am-3:15pm. After orientation, we will start the transition to either day shift: Monday-Friday 6:30am-3:15pm or night shift: 6:30pm-3:15am. After 4 weeks, we will rotate to the opposite shift. Overtime is available!

*ATTENDANCE BONUS - $300 for the 1st month, $600 after the next 2 months and $900 after next 3 months. Potential total of $1,800 within the 1st 6 months.

Job Summary

The assembly team member is responsible for operating large-scale manufacturing equipment within associated the plant's machining and assembly operations in accordance with Company standards and operating procedures. He/she will be responsible for producing quality outputs necessary to manufacture Automatic Transmissions and Transmission accessories.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow standardized procedures to operate machinery used in the production process or use standardized procedures to assemble parts on an assembly line
• Meet daily production quantity targets based upon assigned production schedule and manufacturing leadership request
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with all manufacturing and safety guidelines, procedures and regulations
• Perform manual dexterity work involving fingers, hands, and arms in repeated motion
• Remove parts, machine attachments, or waste material from machine.

Accountabilities:

• Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment
• Maintain a safety working environment and follow all safety procedures
• Report quality issues to supervisor to ensure that issues are investigated and corrected.

Knowledge and Skills:

• 0-1 year of experience in an industrial/manufacturing/production environment
• Math skills — Basic mathematic skills to ensure accurate measurements
• Active listening — giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
