*We have 2 openings for this position. Below are the two available options for the shifts we have currently:*

  • 1st shift
  • 2nd or 3rd shift

*Summary*
Mechanic is responsible for repairing customer equipment. Duties for the above, but are not restricted to, preventative/predictive maintenance, tearing down rotating assemblies diagnosing failure and writing up report. Assembling machine/ rotating assembly once all parts are fixed back to OEM condition

*Responsibilities*
* *
Read blueprints, drawings, measure for bearing clearance and shaft diameters
*

  • Disassemble and assemble machines.
  • Utilize hoist, lift trucks, hand tools, power tools, and inspection equipment.
  • Trouble shoot equipment reliability issues

Qualifications**
*

  • Inspection of used parts, make recommendations for repairing parts
  • Auto/diesel mechanic or other equipment repairing experience
  • Minimum high school diploma or have a GED equivalent
  • Wear required safety equipment/PPE, supplied by Voith
  • Continue to develop skills to become a multi-skill mechanic (including millwright, welding, and other fields as needed)
