Job Description: Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment. Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms and documents. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.

Essential Functions:

• Fully proficient support individual contributor. Works under limited supervision., responsible for performing a variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
• Fully proficient at hand soldering on circuit card assemblies
• Fully proficient comprehension and interpretation of technical specifications, including IPC knowledge, terms, and documents. Ability to complete very structured assignments determining and/or following methods and sequence of operations in performing chemical applications on components and modules on assembly units utilizing machinery.
• Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications and work authorization documentation. Fully participate/engage in team meetings with a positive attitude.
• Be able to support other programs whenever there is a business need. Fully participate/engage in team meetings with a positive attitude.
• Assisting programs with various tasks of varying requests with a timely turn around.

Qualifications:

Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• IPC certified
