*This is a 2nd shift position and hours are 3:00pm to 11:00pm!!*

*Responsibilities –*

  • Perform all job requirements according to procedures as outlined in the VOITH Quality Manual,
  • Company Procedures, and Work Instructions.
  • Reports problems to higher levels of authority as required by the Quality System.
  • Confer with Engineers, production personnel, or others as needed to satisfactorily resolve quality problems.
  • Inspects and measures parts to determine conformance to specifications through use of precision measuring equipment.
  • Performs all inspection functions as required by Work Instructions.
  • Notify supervisor of Non-Conformance.
  • Support Internal Audit Teams.
  • All other duties that may be assigned.

**
*Qualifications –*
Perform operations to disassemble, inspect, and assemble paper machine rotational equipment following proper bearing handling procedures. Use assembly fixtures, and power type bench tools. Ability to recognize defective parts, and may involve unit testing, or similar operations. Perform assembly work subject to process inspections.

  • Possess good mechanical aptitude.
  • Minimum two (2) year of previous assembly experience.
  • Must know how to read blueprints.
  • High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Vocational School graduate in machine shop practices, or equivalent.
