Qualifications
PLEASE NOTE: Our facility now DOES provide ARMED training for applicants who do not have the 20HR armed training for this position. ALL applicants are encouraged to have the below requirements at the time of applying for this position. See below for requirements.
- Must be 21 years of age
- Permanent Employee Registration Card (PER Card)
- 20hr Unarmed Security Training Certificate
- 20hr Armed Training Certificate
- FOID Card
- Open availability including nights and weekends
- Sound judgement
- Dependability

Role and Responsibilities
- Respond to site incidents
- Deliver outstanding customer service
- Ability to give directional information in high level volume environment
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, inspecting buildings, equipment and access points
- Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences and surveillance activities
- Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures
- Enforcing security policies and procedures at all sites
Physical requirement:
- With or without reasonable accommodation, the physical and mental requirements of this job may include the following: seeing, hearing, speaking, and writing clearly. Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain. Additional physical requirements may include, frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.
Job Type: Full-time, part-time, flex- $20-$40/hr.
