We are hiring qualified Armed Security Officers to be part of our elite Marine Patrol unit. As a Marine Patrol Officer, you will be patrolling a designated waterway in a 20' boat. Experience operating a boat at night and in various weather conditions is required.

**Candidates must have a valid Class D and Class G Security License to be considered for this position.**

Candidates must have a valid Florida Boating Safety Education Card or be willing to acquire one, if a conditional job offer is made.

• $27.00 Per Hour

Schedule:

The schedule is a rotating schedule. You will be alternating weekly between two schedules.

Schedule A: Week 1 and 3 (30 Hours)

21:00-07:00 Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Off-Sunday-Wednesday

Schedule B: Week 2 and 4 (40 Hours)

21:00-07:00 Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday

Off-Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Officer Qualifications (At least one qualification must be met):

• U.S. Military Veteran or currently serving in the Reserves or National Guard
• Police Academy graduate

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have experience operating a boat at night in various weather conditions.
• Must be well groomed with a professional appearance
• Must have a valid Class D and Class G Security License
• Must have your own firearm, duty belt, 2 extra magazines and a retention holster. Equipment is subject to inspection, prior to being assigned to the post.
• Must be able to pass a Level II criminal background investigation and drug screening

Candidates must provide the following supporting documentation at the time of interview.

• DD 214 or current U.S. Military ID (If Applicable)
• Law Enforcement Officer Certification (If Applicable)
