Arkansas Dream Center Summer Job at AmeriCorps
Team Members will serve as Food for Good Coordinators who are committed to serving nutritious meals to the children in our summer Mobile program every weekday through the summer from 8:30am-3:30pm. Food for Good Mobile Team Members will serve out of our North Little Rock central office to assist with meal service, assist Program leads in managing fun activities for the kids, and provide a safe, fun environment.

Member Duties : Responsible for loading and unloading meals for distribution amongst each Mobile vehicle. Assisting in the setup and take down of the Mobile Program truck. Encourage opportunities for kids to implement daily lessons learned into everyday life. Distribute any take-home packets with fun activities! Be creative and enthusiastic about creating good habits. Teach positive learning attitudes and positive engagement with those we serve, serve with and fellow team members. Creative in responding to challenges and take initiative to maximize the number of children served. Documentation and record keeping of Program/meal sessions. Complete, with accuracy, daily input of meal counts. Provide daily attendance numbers to Program Lead. Take ownership of the Food Experience at each site. Ensure food safety by following safe food handling procedures while setting up tables, unloading cases, and serving the meals at the site.
