Area Congregate Site Coordinator Job at Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago

Essential Functions* of the position are detailed below and include any physical requirements checked below:
1. Coordinates meals at various sites which includes but is not limited to communicating with owners/managers to ensure proper seating accommodations for participants, correct number of meals prepared, kitchen in working order.
2. Interacts, engages and educates participants on nutritional education.
3. Maintains up-to-date and accurate client files and databases, as required by agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing or accrediting bodies in the course of performing job expectations.
4. Responsible for the set-up and clean-up of dining sites.
5. Delivers meals-on-wheels to homebound clients as needed.
6. Provides assistance with collection, recording and preparation of project income deposits.
7. Works closely with the Nutrition Program Director to maintain programmatic standards and projected units of service.
PLEASE NOTE:* Essential functions include all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
X Kneel and move from sitting, bending, kneeling or standing multiple times a day.
X Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds.
X Climb up and down up to 3 flights of stairs at a time.
X Lift up to 35 pounds.
