The Ken Caryl Pet Spa is a dog grooming salon and pet retail shop in Littleton, Colorado. We are constantly finding new and exciting ways to serve our loyal clients and help their pets live better & longer lives.

This position may include a mix of retail cashier shifts as well as bathing shifts, depending on our needs and your strengths. We are in need of a permanent part to full-time employee, approx 24-40 hours per week depending on your learning curve and performance and availability.

Duties include:

• Answering phones and scheduling appointments.
• Assisting with inventory and product ordering tasks.
• Assisting with daily tasks such as restocking, event prep, flyer and sign creation, client tracking, etc...
• Keeping up to date on our products and services and what they have to offer. (We sell a lot of fun pet stuff and are always learning more!)
• Bathing, brushing, and drying dogs. Trimming and grinding nails, and other grooming tasks.
• Providing Thera-Clean treatments to improve skin health. (Look up the Thera-Clean bath- it's really cool!)
• Making product or service suggestions based on a pet’s needs.
• Daily cleaning.
• Closing shifts, until 7:30 pm, Sunday availability needed.

Experience handling dogs preferred. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Required Qualifications and Skills for Pet Spa

• Preferred experience in the pet industry.
• Able to work daytime shifts until 7:30pm and one weekend day (preferably Sundays)
• Must be highly reliable due to busy, appointment-based schedule.
• Exceptional customer service skills; can confidently provide solutions to clients.
• Work independently to solve problems and communicate across departments.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer functions.
• Pet handling experience is a plus! Must be able to lift 50lbs.
