Job Title: Architect, Customer Data Platform

Job Location: Hershey, PA

This Position is open to 100% remote.

Summary:

Provide technical leadership, execute day-to-day solution support, and lead technical implementations for various consumer, customer, employee compliance technologies. Currently Hershey’s Compliance Technologies consist primary of Adobe Experience Platform and OneTrust. This role will provide technical leadership across but primarily focus on Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) as a core piece of our compliance technologies. The Hershey Company’s Information Services (IS) department supports these critical platforms to support our legal & business partners in driving growth, consumer engagement, and compliance.

Major Duties/Responsibilities:

• Day to Day management and administration of the AEP Real-time CDP, AEP Launch, AEP Advanced Data Preperation as required by the role.
• Provide architectural leadership and support for AEP as required.
• Manage and optimize data transfers between Adobe Experience Platform and source/destination systems.
• Provide guidance on segment-building in Adobe Experience Platform Real-time CDP.
• Manage and administer data tables (Profile and Reference tables) within the Adobe platform.
• Diagnose and track down any functional issues to a root or functional cause, and resolve issues as needed.
• Manage and maintain overall architecture documentation.
• Coordinate with compliance team on proper handling of consumer PII.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members, internal partners, customers, and others through good interpersonal skills.
• Identify goals and objectives, success criteria, and action items/deliverables for completing projects in conjunction with Product and Solutions Managers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform major duties/responsibilities:

• Required: 7+ years experience leading development or implementations for enterprise applications.
• 5+ years of hands on experience with RESTful API development, integration, & maintenance strongly preferred.
• Required: Previous hands on experience with Adobe Campaign Standard or equivalent platform (e.g. SFMC, Responsys, etc…) and hands on experience with Adobe Experience Platform Real-time CDP
• Required: Demonstrated familiarity with the Adobe Suite (e.g. Adobe Analytics, Adobe Launch, etc…)
• Required: Ability to translate requests from non-technical stakeholders into operational steps and successful outcomes
• Required: Ability to create and modify technical documentation for processes
• Required: High degree of initiative, dependability and ability to work with little supervision.
• Required: Strong API development and management skills
• Required: Demonstrated competency in a variety of Data Transport and ETL processes and methodologies. Prefer experience with via Azure Data Factory
• Required: Moderate technical trouble shooting capabilities (e.g. identify communication vs. authentication failures, etc…)
• Required: Demonstrated knowledge of metadata management concepts and practical application
• Required: Basic understanding of SQL Databases including basic SQL query management and optimization skills
• Required: Ability to translate requests from non-technical stakeholders into operational steps and successful outcomes
• Required: Ability to create and modify technical documentation for processes
• Required: Strong administration and task management skills
• Required: Ability to work in a small, cross-functional team environment
• Preferred: Demonstrated competency in Agile Digital Project Management.
• Strongly Preferred: Adobe Campaign Standard Developer or Architect Certification.
• Strong knowledge of the CCPA and GDPR and a good understanding of other major privacy frameworks and evolving legislation, security laws, rules and regulations are a plus.

Minimum Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Information Systems
• CIPP, CIPM, or CIPT certifications preferred.
• Master’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or other applicable advanced degree preferred.
