ALL NEW EQUIPMENT

45 to 50 hours weekly during the summer. 40 hours weekly during the winter. We pay time and a half over 40.

Work with top-of-the-line labor saving equipment such as a new Grapple Saw Crane, portable Nifty Lifts, bucket trucks and several articulating skid steers to save your back from lifting!

We have our own brush pile and gas tanks on site. No more waiting in line to fill-up or drop off brush

Do you like being outside? Do you enjoy rock climbing or being in the trees...then this position is the one for you! You don't have to be isolated in an office. This job will set you free for the outdoors as you conduct daily field work. We promote from within.

The position includes but is not limited to climbing trees with the aid of a ladder, safety belt/saddle, climbing line, or bucket truck. The position also includes working from the ground using hand-powered saws, pruners, etc. The job includes trimming/removing trees while throwing or lowering the tree to the ground with lines.

Ideal position for someone that loves the outdoors, gardening, rock climbing or landscapes.

Able to lift at least 75 pounds to shoulder height

Ability to climb at least 40’ up a rope and climb a tree

Ability to pass a drug screen

Must not be Afraid of Heights

Previous experience in landscaping is a plus but not necessary

Previous experience in lawn care is a plus but not necessary

Previous experience as a commercial window cleaner is a plus but not necessary.

Previous experience in construction, roofing, asphalt, concrete or cement is a plus but not necessary.

Can't be afraid of heights!!

Pesticide Applicator License is a plus.

Category A, E

Previous experience in the military or national guard is a plus but not necessary

Knowledge of the Spanish/Latin culture is a plus but not necessary

Previous experience as a landscaping foreman is a plus but not necessary

Bilingual in Spanish/English is a plus

Farming experience is preferred but not necessary

Commercial Driver's License (CDL, Class "A") is preferred or the ability to obtain a CDL within the first 3 months of hire.

We can assist team member in getting their “Class A, CDL” driver's license and passing the “Certified Arborist” examine

Prior experience with a chainsaw, pole pruner, hedge trimmer, bucket / boom truck, skid steer / bobcat, aerial lift, stump grinding, sprayer, 4-wheeler, pesticides, herbicides, and insecticides is a plus but not necessary

At least 1 full year of experience in rope and saddle

Rope and Saddle Climbing - DRT and SRT

Current driver’s license

Other qualifications will be presented during the interview process

Perform multiple inspections throughout day on equipment to check and maintain proper fluid levels, performance of the equipment, etc., using the company checklist as a guideline

Reports equipment needs and hazards to supervisor and/or mechanic

Continuous safety check on the equipment to ensure equipment is working properly and safely

Survey, evaluate and take measures to ensure work area is safe from any dangers (powerlines, utilities, co-workers, etc.)

Inspect all attachments to the machinery to ensure that they are operational and take the appropriate steps to correct

Follows work order instructions from supervisor

Ensures that job site is left in safe condition

Maintains good housekeeping on equipment

Operates a chainsaw

Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Ability to understand and follow oral instructions; communicate with supervisors, co-workers and the public effectively

Able to comply with all safety policies and procedures and OSHA regulations

Able to comply with all company policies and procedures

Ability to work overtime when required

Must have a strong work ethic

Valid driver's license, preferred

Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screen

Compensation:

Very competitive, based on qualifications and experience, time and a half over 40 hours per week
