Arborist Assistant Job at Advantage Personnel
Do you love working outdoors and physical activity? Not afraid of heights? Advantage Personnel is looking for Arborist Assistants for a local company. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am-5 pm. The pay is $18-$20/hr without experience, $20+/hr with experience, and $28/hr if licensed. No experience required! They are willing to train and invest in you and eventually pay for your certification. Once hired on, benefits include health insurance and year-end bonuses!
Arborist Assistant Duties and Responsibilities
- Structural and maintenance pruning
- Removal of dead trees
- Planting of trees
- Operate woodchipper
- Rack, pick up, and dispose of tree branches and leaves
- Provide preventative tree maintenance such as watering, aerating, fertilizing, cabling, and staking to existing trees
Arborist Assistant Requirements and Qualifications
- Possess valid driver’s license
- Have a decent clean driving record
- Ability to learn safe tree climbing practices
- Must be willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be able to engage in strenuous physical activity
- Demonstrates teamwork
- Must be customer service oriented and able to work with a diverse clientele
