Apprentice Carpentry/Make Ready Turns Job at Madden Industrial Craftsmen
We are seeking an entry level Apartment Maintenance Technician I to assist with works on work orders, repairs, renovations, unit turnover and on-call emergencies. The Maintenance Technician will assist the Lead Maintenance Technician and the Community Manager in implementing maintenance programs, policies, procedures, and preventative maintenance efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
- Estimate time and extent of repairs
- Perform routine preventive maintenance
- Maintain material and supply inventory
- Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
- Maintain service logs and records as required
- Be always courteous and pleasant to residents and co-workers. Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with vendors.
- Work on projects as assigned by Lead Maintenance and Community Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance required
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Must have reliable transportation
