Exciting Opportunity for an Application Engineer located in Deer Park!

Description:

Must Have:

- Bachelors in Science in Mechanical Engineering or BSMET or Bachelors in Electro- Mechanical or Manufacturing

• Strong Communication Skills (Sales Orientated Mindset)
• Must be willing to travel 15% of the time (after one year)

PLUS:

• Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering concepts and Components
• Demonstrate skills in reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Strong Pc and problem solving skills, with ability to reason with solutions
• Someone with Mechanical Assembly/ Automotive / etc. interests (this includes hobbies)
• Overall, strong hands on experience, willing to learn
• Strong Computer Skills

Main Responsibility:

Candidate will provide technical and marketing support to Field Sales Force (including agents and representatives). Seek to improve the maximum manufacturing profit for assigned products.

After one Year Training period:

• Generate proposals in response to inquiries and requests for bids.

- Meet with customers as required for pre- inquire discussions, clarify technical specification, etc.

• Responsible for development of concept, performance specifications and sales price and tooling
• Analyzing customer needs and providing solutions
• 15% Travel, some international. If international travel (Germany and Canada)

• Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Experience with SolidWorks or Inventor (Plus)

• Hands on Experience with Mechanical components (Electrical Components as well)
