Responsibilities:

Sentinel is looking for an Application Architect to join our client for a 6 month contract with the possibility to extend longer. This candidate will be creating a framework and best practices for developing user and business centric solution recommendations. The ideal candidate will lead the effort to develop strategy plans and work to understand stakeholder needs. This is a contract hybrid position reporting half of the time in the office and half of the time remote. The candidate will report to our client site located in Chicago, IL.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ years professional experience in information technology
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience in Archimate, or UML modeling standards
  • Competent in Business Domain Analysis, Business Architecture Development and Business Process Modeling (TOGAF)
  • Highly advanced project management skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to work with a team and have leadership qualities
  • Degree in Computer Science, Economics, Business, or Accounting preferred
  • Experience with consulting and software development practices preferred
  • The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
  • A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude
