Moran, Assistant Superintendent of Human ResourcesSUBJECT: Anticipated Opening (s) - Special Education Teacher The above captioned position is brought to the attention of all teaching and administrative personnel. This notice will serve as announcement for all open Special Education position which may occur between now and September 1, 2023.
The position may be at a preschool, elementary school, middle school, or high school. Names of specific schools where position may become available will be provided to all applicants as that information is finalized. This position is dependent upon funding.Minimum Qualifications: Licensure in Special Education (Moderate or Severe)Experience working with students with disabilities using a variety of interventions, accommodations and modificationsExperience with MCAS Alternative AssessmentExperience developing and implementing individual and classroom behavior support plansDemonstrated ability to administer, score, and interpret educational testsSkilled in providing specialized instruction and using data to guide servicesExperience with alignment of CORE standards to differentiate instruction to meet the individual the needs of students with disabilitiesKnowledge of writing measurable individualized education plans, goals and objectivesCompensation: According to contract; $500.00 differential
