Moran,Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources SUBJECT: Anticipated Opening(s) School Adjustment Counselor(s) The position of School Adjustment Counselor is being advertised. This position may be at Brockton High School, a Middle School, an Elementary School or any other school site depending on the needs of the system.
This notice will serve as the announcement for all open school adjustment counselor positions which may occur between the close of school and September 1, 2023. Names of specific schools where position may become available will be provided to all applicants as that information is finalized. This position is dependent upon funding.QUALIFICATION: 1.Masters degree from an accredited institution, with a concentration in one of the following areas: Social Work, Psychology, Education or Guidance. 2.Not less than two years of full time, paid, successful and fully attested experience in the handling of children, including those below the age of twelve, in an educational child care or guidance setting preferred.3.State approval by the Director of the Youth Service Bureau and the Commissioner of the Massachusetts DESE.COMPENSATION: $750 differentialA resume of the applicants background MUST accompany the letter of application.
