Strategic Analytics & Intelligence (SAI) provides strategic advisory, business guidance, and decision support to senior leadership in Commercial, Medical, and Government Affairs (CMG). We do this by partnering across the organization to address complex challenges in the healthcare landscape.

The CMG organization seeks to deliver more personalized and meaningful experiences to our patients and other customers, and the SAI team is responsible for delivering key analytics products, such as platforms for developing customer personas or tools and processes to enable agile measurement and optimization, to the CMG organization that allow us to successfully deliver on this goal.

Reporting into the Sr. Director of CMG Strategy and Insights, the product enablement director will be responsible for ensuring the long term success of their product - defining the product strategy and contributing to the product overall roadmap in collaboration with the Product Manager, establishing operational processes, driving training and adoption, and maximizing people and business impact.

Major Responsibilities

Defining the product strategy: The product enablement director will work closely with the product leadership to define the overall direction and strategy for the product. This includes identifying target users, defining key features and functionality, and setting performance goals.

Contributing actively to the product roadmap: Work hand in hand with the product manager, as a voice of business partners and their needs, to create a roadmap that outlines the planned development and release of new features and functionality for the product that address those business needs.

Ensuring product adoption and effective operationalization: The product enablement director will be responsible for driving successful adoption of the product by target users. The enablement director will also be responsible for establishing a governance model, and closely collaborating with relevant compliance advisory members in Legal, Compliance and Privacy.

Coordinating with cross-functional business teams: The product enablement director will work closely with business stakeholders across the organization and serve as the bridge between business (marketing, Medical Affairs and Customer Engagement, ) and tech teams, to ensure that the product is addressing business needs and is adopted effectively.

Establishing product training strategy: The product enablement director will be responsible for ensuring that all stakeholders/end users have the knowledge and skills they need to effectively utilize the product. This may include developing and delivering training materials and conducting training sessions.

Measuring product success: The product enablement director will work with the product manager to establish the right framework to track key metrics and measures of success for the product, and identify areas of improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline: Business, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer or Physical Sciences or related field; AND

  • 10+ years of practical work experience preferred OR

  • An equivalent mix of education and work experience is required

  • Significant (2 - 3+ years) [project or program management management experience, working directly with technical product management, engineering and data science teams, end users (marketing/customer engagement), and senior product/business leaders

  • Experience navigating highly complex organizations in order to develop partnerships and catalyze actions that lead to product adoption and success

  • Demonstrated experience leading, collaborating with, and influencing cross-functional teams to shape and deliver on key product milestones and reach ambitious objectives

  • Ability to leverage an understanding of customer and user needs to shape an effective product roadmap that balances competing priorities with customer impact

  • An entrepreneurial sense of ownership of overall team and product success, and the ability to make things happen around you. A bias towards getting things done, owning the solution, and driving problems to resolution

  • Proven track record of leadership, time-management, project management, teamwork, and managing complex priorities in fast moving and ambiguous environments.

  • Persuasive written and verbal communication skills; comfortable with technical and non-technical audiences

  • Strong attention to detail


The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of CA is $168,100 - $312,100. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
