Essential Functions and Objectives:

  • Performs analysis and creates reports on transcripts, course codes usage, course data, and graduation requirements in Infinite Campus, including information within the On Track to Graduate Tool and Menu of Options, for all district-run, pathway, innovation, and charter schools.
  • Supports data use and interpretation, analytical work, reporting in District Portals. Work frequently includes writing queries to pull data, and collaborating with district and school users to identify data needs and report requirements, producing reports, and presenting results to district teams and school staff.
  • Provide district and school staff with clean and accurate course code and transcript data. This includes, but is not limited to, providing district wide course analyses, producing and publishing district wide course code and transcript resources, analyzing on-track to graduation data as needed for school data support, managing Menu of Options entry for submission to the CDE, monitoring and auditing district wide scheduling accuracy, collaborating with multiple departments to provide needed course code and transcript data and resources, performing transcript data audits, and completing course code and transcript data requests.

  • Develop transcript accuracy and course usage tracking reports to ensure consistency across district schools.
  • Maintain auditing practices to ensure graduation requirement compliance, including setting up reporting systems to optimize extract, analyze, and deliver content. Create and document queries; audit and clean data; and setup and validate infrastructure that complies with established processes and guidelines.
  • Updated Menu of Options status from manual submissions and handle data collection and input into systems.
  • Provide professional development and resources to department staff and school staff to build team capacity around accessing, understanding, and using graduation and credit attainment data.
  • Maintain proactive communication with key internal and external stakeholders and work closely with functional experts, providing support and strong collaboration among all resources involved.
  • Serves as a liaison to other departments in order to facilitate access to and analysis of transcript, graduation, credit attainment, and grade data.
  • Use appropriate software tools including database, statistical and reporting packages to access, analyze and report district data.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Knowledge, Experience & Other Qualifications:

  • One (1) plus years of advanced skills in analyzing data and constructing reports using Infinite Campus, Microsoft Access, and proficiency in expression and formula writing in MS Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Ability to discuss issues at a technical and non-technical level with programmers and project stakeholders.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience.
