Please Note: It is strongly preferred that this role be hybrid working up to 3 days/week in-office from one of the listed office locations. If not located within commutable distance to one of the listed offices, incumbent must be willing to travel up to 25% to an office for onsite meetings as needed.

Position Summary
The Agile Product Owner owns their product at the team level maintaining and prioritizing the product roadmap. The Agile Product Owner will collaborate with stakeholders and technology teams to enhance and expand the reach of the Evernorth Accountable Care Claims Payment and Value Monetization Team. The individual will develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, business, and IT partners, acting as a liaison and mitigating ambiguity. The Agile Product Owner will identify opportunities and implement process improvements, establishing deadlines, aligning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress against goals.

Key responsibilities would include cultivating and maintaining relationships among stakeholders and business partners while developing and implementing strategies and SOPs for effective implementation and integration, maintenance and support of tools and capabilities supporting the processing of claims, repricing and billing of claims and payment of contracted providers as well as the provider data operations and management. In addition this person will be knowledgeable of the work with our third party vendor as we design the ACO offering.

Essential Functions

Participate in and/or facilitate ideation and strategy sessions to identify features that will facilitate the payment of providers and application of repricing programs.

Analyze and evaluate new tools and features to identify business value

Identify and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives - fostering strong collaborative relationships with partner application owners, business and technical stakeholders, and strategy partners

Translate business and user objectives into requirements and acceptance criteria, developing and documenting business requirements in a detailed and timely manner

Collaborate in an Agile environment and liaison with team members to effectively communicate business requirements and expectations

Document and maintain project plans/roadmaps to effectively manage expectations internally and externally

Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions

Establish and enforce compliance with best practices

Test application features in a QA and Production environments to verify accuracy and ensure content is defect free

Identify key trends through the use of data & analytics that drive business decisions

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in related field strongly preferred. Master’s Degree in related field ideal.

Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and MS Project, and Windows in a work environment required.

Experience within healthcare claims payment, billing cycle, and provider operations required

At least 1 year working knowledge of agile methodology and experience interfacing with technology teams in an agile environment required

Advanced knowledge of programs like Jira, Jira Align, Confluence & SharePoint

Proven ability to develop strong working relationships and establish a high level of credibility across functional and lines of business

Ability to influence other managers involved in multi work-track projects.

Ability to sustain momentum under challenging circumstances, working with all stakeholders and delivery teams

Demonstrates strong decision-making skills and problem solving techniques

Demonstrates ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast paced, high volume, rapidly changing environment

High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.

Ability to predict challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles

Both technically deep and business savvy enough to interface with cross-functional partners

Strong interpersonal, communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 88,400 - 147,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
