Agile Coach / Release Train Engineer

Job Description

Elavon / U.S. Bank is seeking a motivated Agile Coach/Release Train Engineer with servant leader mindset to act as a coach to multiple teams within an Agile delivery framework. Candidate must have experience in/with:

  • PI Planning or a variation of Incremental planning processes where alignment across Value Stream teams and product groups includes an iterative delivery related to the vision and roadmap strategy.

  • Leading and driving Program Increments aligned to Increment objectives to deliver value on demand

  • Facilitation of Incremental planning events focused on team alignment and self-organization and delivery planning

  • Experience in facilitating and driving agile ceremonies at program and/or product level to help teams progress in the right direction

  • Deep understanding on how team are structured and deliver within an Agile Scrum model and how multiple teams interact, work, and manage dependencies to deliver within the program increment.

  • Experience in managing dependencies through tracking upstream / downstream application and product impacts within the delivery model

  • Experience in managing stakeholder expectations and interactions throughout the Increment as delivery milestones planned

  • Facilitating team transparency by escalating impediments and shares progress by the team to the appropriate channels

  • Active engagement in defining and managing action items, identifying issues and risks, adjusting scope, and identifying tasks necessary to complete planned work

  • Building and managing timely communication channels with leadership, business stakeholders and delivery teams

  • Driving continuous improvement by utilizing feedback and metrics to identify areas of opportunity

  • Capturing, analyzing, and publishing appropriate team and program metrics that drive and guide delivery decisions

  • Facilitating coaching for teams to build self-governing structures to empower to drive decision making throughout the increment

  • Acting as an Agile coach to teams and stakeholders on opportunities to lead a variety of incremental learning opportunities











Required Skills: This role is 80% RTE, 20% Agile Coach 100% remote but must work Eastern Hours
