Aggregates and Petrography Laboratory: Highway Materials Engineer Job at Genex Systems
Genex Systems is looking for a Highway Materials Engineer (HME) to support the Aggregates and Petrography Laboratory at the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center (TFHRC) in McLean, VA.
Responsibilities:
- The engineer should have experience with pavement design, drainage, and with soils and aggregates methods, proctors, and compaction control on the grade.
- In addition, the engineer should have experience with the design and quality control of concrete and asphalt mixtures.
Qualification:
- The HME shall be a qualified civil engineer with experience in pavement materials and construction.
- The engineer shall have a degree in civil engineering or equivalent, or a current PE license.
