SCOPE

General Description

Subcontractor shall provide support for National Nuclear Security Association (NNSA) Capital Projects (NCP) mission. The AWP SME will support the development, deployment, and day to day management of the Advanced Work Packaging program. The AWP SME will be responsible to ensure that the AWP Program is being implemented according to plan and that Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Work Package alignment is maintained through the lifecycle of the project using self- assessments and other measuring techniques. The AWP SME shall support all phases of the NNSA Capital Projects.

WORK REQUIREMENTS

Task Requirements

The AWP SME shall support the development, deployment, and day to day management of the Advanced Work Packaging program. The focus of deliverables will be from a Foreman First perspective to ensure the most effective end user experience. Provide guidance and direction on day-to-day activities and deliverables in the areas of Advanced Work Packaging, Workface Planning, and Information Management to support program implementation. The AWP SME will be responsible to ensure that the AWP Program is being implemented according to plans and that Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Work Package alignment is maintained through the lifecycle of the project using self-assessments and other measuring techniques.

Scope includes but is not limited to:

• Provide leadership to the AWP team and guidance through the development and execution of the AWP program creating a positive work environment.
• Manage and develop implementation content in the areas of Advanced Work Packaging, Workface Planning, and Information Management.
• Ensure the AWP process requirements are being implemented properly throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Support Engineering, Procurement, and Construction develop AWP practices imbedded in their standard process.
• Facilitate periodical AWP Program and tool time studies to measure the success of the program.
• Responsible for the continuous improvement AWP

Period of Performance Schedule

• The period of performance shall be for a period of one year from award of this agreement. SRNS reserves the option to extend this for two, one-year option

Qualification Criteria

An active DOE clearance is not initially required to perform assigned duties. Subcontract personnel must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE "Q" security clearance. After award, the selected uncleared candidate may be required to apply for a DOE clearance.
