This position is eligible for a flexible hybrid work model and can be located in Fargo, ND or Burr Ridge, IL.
Responsibilities:
  • Handles all purchasing activity for multiple current product development programs.
  • Support the Current Product Manager (CPM) and Team in early supplier involvement to facilitate and speed up the introduction of change requirements to improve the final Customer Experience and reduce the relevant main CPM KPIs like F100/ACPU and Time to Fix.
  • Builds, forecasts, and implements sourcing and tooling plans in conjunction with Central Purchasing to ensure product launch meets all program targets for quality, cost, and timing.
  • Accountable for all direct material cost of the product.
  • Increases supplier value through R&D, co-design, and innovation.
  • Has decision making authority on sourcing decisions for new product.
  • Holds suppliers accountable to commitments and project work independently and takes the appropriate steps to raise issues when required.

Annual Base Salary Range for this position: $76,000 - $120,000 USD (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Management or related
  • 3+ years of purchasing, project management or similar experience preferably in the production or procurement of components and subsystems within a manufacturing environment.
  • In lieu of Bachelor's degree will consider Associates Degree with an additional 2 years' experience (5 years total) or High School Diploma with an additional 4 years' experience (7 years total) specifically in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% within North America (mostly domestic)
