Admitting Rep and Receptionist | Full Time | Admitting Job at Hillsdale Hospital
Work Schedule:
Two 2nd shift positions available, Will work 5 days per week, usually 1 weekend per month.
A. 1:00pm - 9:00 pm M-F | weekends and holidays on a rotation
B. 2:30pm - 10:30 pm M-F | weekends and holidays on a rotation

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior knowledge of the admitting process preferred but not required
- Computer skills required
- Familiarity with medical terminology preferred
- Must have an excellent command of the English language, together with the ability to communicate with the general public in a courteous manner
- Required to work rotating weekend and holiday hours
- Must be able to carry out the timely and efficient handling of admissions and telephone calls
- Must have a positive attitude and be a team player
Responsibilities:
- Registers and pre-registers patients for HH services in a timely, accurate, and professional manner, keeping patients informed of any delays
- Operates Switchboard equipment and related systems
- Disbursement of registration paperwork
- Assists with up front collections
Education
Required- High School or better
