Responsibilities


Oversees the receiving, sorting & distributing of incoming and outgoing mail for the College of Law, including the documentation & distribution of incoming FedEx & UPS deliveries. Prints shipping labels for outgoing FedEx deliveries. Ensures all incoming mail is delivered in a timely manner to established mailrooms & mailboxes or hand delivery when required. Will also coordinate and run errands across campus using a College of Law vehicle as needed.

Responsible for monitoring office supplies, copy paper & other inventory items, to include dispensing items to faculty & staff. Maintaining the office supply inventory. Notifying supervisor of impending stock/supply reordering. Maintains adequate coffee supplies in Law School faculty/staff break rooms. Assists Facility Associate & Facility Manager with event set up & breakdowns. Assists in moving office furniture when necessary. Assists in inventory taking during annual inventory of major accountable property.

Is responsible in coordinating with supervisor for the daily inspection of classrooms & public spaces for cleanliness & adequate supplies, accuracy of wall clocks, climate control, lighting, & removal of unauthorized signs or notices from walls, windows, doors or railings. Replace missing supplies in classrooms & inform Facilities Associate or Facilities Manager of any maintenance issues. Ensures storage & supply closets are clean & maintained in an orderly manner.

Qualifications


This position requires a High School Diploma and one year of experience in a customer service or office setting.

Applicants must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) or equivalent software, and Adobe Acrobat or similar software.

Knowledge of standard office procedures, equipment and etiquette is essential.

Anticipated Salary Range


Anticipated salary range is $13 - $15 per hour, depending upon experience.

Pay Plan


This is an OPS/temporary Job.

Schedule


Position is full-time, M-F, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Criminal Background Check


This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. The background check will be conducted as authorized and in accordance with University Policy 4-OP-C-7-B11.
