The County of Riverside Facilities Management is seeking an Administrative Services Analyst I (ASA I) to join the custodial unit.

The ASA I will perform a variety of technical work including contract management with pest control and window cleaning countywide, inventory and budget for internal supplies, track and maintain the department's vehicle inventory by tracking the distribution roster, incidents, service, and input mileage logs . Additionally, the ASA I will assist in mandated training and safety compliance for the custodial staff.

Competitive candidates will have experience in contract management, fleet inventory control and tracking. Program Management experience is highly desired.

The Administrative Services Analyst I is the first working level classification in the Administrative Services Analyst series and reports to a supervisory or manager level position. This classification is characterized by the responsibility to provide a variety of administrative services involving budgets, contract monitoring, purchasing, space utilization, facilities project management, human resources administration, staff development, and/or staffing to a small county department. Incumbents may also perform one or more specific administrative support functions to complement centralized, administrative services for an entire larger county department including providing technical data and/or budgetary recommendations for management decisions; proposing actions based on the analysis of data; monitoring contracts for compliance; and implementing and coordinating specific procedures on a departmental level.

The Administrative Services Analyst I is distinguished from the Administrative Services Analyst II by the latter's performance of complex and difficult assignments requiring a lesser degree of review and a higher level of independence.
