Your role.


Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Provide day-to-day support for multiple partners and their respective teams
  • Assist with production and editing of complex client or Firm deliverables, such as proposals, presentations, spreadsheets, work plans and reports - copy, bind and distribute as appropriate
  • Create and review client invoices, utilizing hours and expense detail in firm management system
  • Schedule and organize various meetings, including reserving of conference rooms (coffee, water, meals, etc.), needed equipment and/or setting up conference calls - distribute agendas, project lists, minutes, and reports in preparation of meetings, when required
  • Manage Client Relationship Management (CRM) system for respective team members, including various required reports from the system
  • Assist with various tax processing tasks such as: scanning client documents, printing, assembling, and organizing paper and electronic copies of returns and estimates, and other tax deliverables
  • Responsible for learning and using technology and other applications, including certain MS Office, data bases, proprietary applications, and others (training will be provided as needed)
  • Assist with internal/external event coordination including mixers, staff and client functions, community events
  • Assist other administrative assistants when necessary; provide backup when needed


The qualifications.

  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent required. Higher level of education/college coursework preferred.
  • 2 or more years of experience working in an administrative or executive administrative role.
  • Microsoft Office experience required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Proven administrative, organizational, and time management skills with great attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills and a focus on client service, exercising independent judgment.
  • Versatile within a team environment, maintaining confidentiality, credibility, and trust.
  • This is a non-exempt position that may require some overtime during the workweek.
  • Qualified individuals must reside in or near the Auburn Hills, MI area or be willing to relocate to the area for this opportunity. This position may require some local and inter-state travel.

Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) Information

Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience and is provided in accordance with the CO Equal Pay for Equal Work Act.

Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO. Please review position location for applicable geographic location.

Colorado hourly rate range is as follows:

$23.50 to $37.38

Highlights include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. These standard offerings are effective on the first of the month following your start date. In addition to this, eligible staff are able to take advantage of our Flexible Time Off and various pre-determined holidays as well as a balance fund, 401(k) plan, flexible benefits plans, business-related travel expense, lodging and meal reimbursement for business-related use. A Pension plan is also available for eligible administrative and paraprofessional staff. A discretionary bonus plan is available for eligible staff. Plante Moran also offers Interns and Contractors the option to elect health insurance under our contingent staff medical plan as of the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment in addition to limited paid time sick time. Seasonal staff are not eligible for benefits.
