How would this position make an impact in your community?
As an Administrative Assistant in our office, you will:
- Field a variety of questions on different topics in workers' compensation and labor.
- Direct calls to appropriate staff.
- Perform clerical functions to support Division programs.
- Maintain and enter information into databases.
- Prepare and edit documents, correspondence, and reports.

Knowledge of:
- Microsoft Office software.
- Office management and administrative practices.
Skill in:
- Learning Montana statute, administrative rules, policies and procedures related to the programs operated within the Division.
- Working independently.
- Providing excellent internal and external customer service.
- Operating general office equipment.
- Promoting and supporting a friendly working environment.
Ability to:
- Read, interpret and understand complex information.
- Cope with periods of simultaneous high-priority projects.
- Use discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Work as a member of a collaborative team.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school graduation (or equivalent), and;
- Three years of directly related experience. Examples of directly related experience include experience in an administrative, legal or regulatory environment, or other position such as executive secretary where progressively responsible experience was obtained.

- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered on a case-by-case basis.
