Administrative Assistant

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to organize and coordinate administration duties and office procedures. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication and safety. A successful Administrative Assistant should also have experience with a variety of office software (email tools, spreadsheets and databases) and be able to accurately handle administrative duties. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional who enjoys a high degree of responsibility and thrives in a dynamic environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in general office management and maintenance, including but not limited to:

  • Experience with payroll, AP/AR, Quickbooks a plus, accounting software Job costing, bookkeeping
  • Back-up management
  • Other Administrative support assignments as needed
  • Experience on with phones a must
  • Must type at least 55 words per minute

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not necessary
  • 5+ years of proven experience as an assistant office manager, front office manager or administrative assistant preferred
  • Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
  • Acute attention to detail, and Positive and professional demeanor
  • Pleasant customer service skills is a must
  • Ability to multi-task, stay organized and function effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements

This is NOT a remote position

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
