Pearl Events Austin is hiring! We are seeking a bright, hard-working and motivated individual with an interest in the event planning to join our team as an administrative assistant.

The role: As the administrative assistant, you play a vital role in the day to day operations of our office, working in a fast paced environment for one of Austin’s top wedding and event planners. Pivoting between answering phones and emails, assisting planners, providing customer facing support and service, and helping to manage the day to day, no two days are the same!

This is a part-time position, 30-35 hours per week Monday-Friday

Preferred Start Date: May 2023

Duties are as follows:

Scheduling Event Assistants. Maintaining Event Assistant Relationships.

Hiring/Conducting Interviews with Potential Event Assistants.

Creation of contracts, proposals and design boards.

Hire, train and manage a team of interns each semester.

Answer in office calls and voicemails.

New lead tracking.

Internal Photo Storage Through SmugMug.

Tracking/ responding to reviews online.

Create/ edit diagrams in Social Tables.

Social media creation. Managing Planoly. Instagram/Tiktok.

Weekly blog creation for the website.

Backend of Our Website Work on WordPress.

Check in office inventory before and after all events.

Help load cars and unload before and after events.

Update and maintain the website.

Maintain office cleanliness and order supplies.
