Requirements:

Major Responsibilities: Support for clinical programs and administrative functions in a wide variety of areas, including the Practical Nursing program. Follow all FNU Policies, Procedures, Rules and Regulation and the FNU Code of Ethics. As well as, Title IX, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, as amended from time to time (“FERPA”), Florida Information Protection Act of 2014, as amended from time to time (“FIPA”), the EU General Data Protection Regulation as amended from time to time (GDPR) and all other applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Read, understand and comply with the University’s mission, the catalog, the University’s policies and procedures, the Staff Handbook and Institutional Effectiveness process.

2. Respond to communications (e-mail/voice mail) on a daily basis.

3. Maintain all students' files and forms, and restocking forms as needed.

4. Support the clinical program as needed (e.g., preparing documentation/information for all students and maintain all the information updated as required by the clinical affiliates).

5. Assist the Department of Education at the Hospital or Clinical site to coordinate the Orientation Date for the students.

6. Support the Director of the Program and Senior Administrator to obtain a satisfactory progress for all clinical sites.

7. Assist as may be needed with reviews and audits for all documentation needed on the students in order to start the clinical rotation for each program.

8. Maintain all documents in order at the office and at the hospital or clinical site, and processing all new requirements or regulations from any of the affiliate sites.

9. Order supplies, including uniforms, and maintain all materials as needed for the clinical progress and or as directed by the administration.

10. Coordinate and renew agreements for the clinical sites, assist the Program Director with scheduling of the hours and dates for each of the students in the program.

11. Assist all instructors when they require any additional help to be successful in the classroom or at the clinical site.

12. 0rganize files and forms storage, coordinating with the Program Director for the identification and arrangement for materials to be purged and shredded.

13. Provide supervision and coordinates work for all departments in order to complete the enrollment and registration for all new students.

14. Coordinate the administration of the entry exam for the nursing program and process the results to be ready for the Director of the Program and the Vice-President of Academic Affairs.

15. 0rganize and schedule basic seminars (CPR, OSHA, HIV, Domestic Violence and or any other basic seminars required by the Department of Health) for all students in order to be prepared to start the clinical rotations at the hospital or clinical site.

16. Administer all forms and documentation for all students in order to be ready for the hospital or clinical sites (drug Test, Vaccines, Background checks, fingerprints and all forms required by the hospital or clinical site).

17. Work with the program Director on specific rules, regulations, and tasks.

18. Maintain all students safe at the clinical site and inform the Program Director of any abnormal situation immediately.

19. Prepare packets of materials, providing orientation, and training to all students and faculty pertaining to hospital procedures and policies.

20. Support and participate in University Commencement Ceremonies.

21. Participate in the self-studies and committees conducted by the University.

22. Performs other duties as assigned.

23. Ensure they are in compliance with Title IX of Education Amendments Act of 1972.

Education & Experience Requirements

Required: Masters in Nursing Education

Required: 3+ years nursing experience

RN License

1 year of teaching experience strongly preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $43.00 - $45.00 per hour
