Our company. is a leading water sporting goods and toys company, owns US distribution rights for nine brands including Body Glove, Jetpilot, Yamaha Seascooters, Wham-O, Morey Bodyboards, BZ Proboards, Churchill SwimFins, and a few other brands.

The Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for issuing invoices and sending monthly billing statements to our customers, tracking incoming cash flow, and reporting late customers’ payments. In addition to billing duties, you post a record of each customer’s payment to the respective sub-ledger and investigate unusual account activities.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

· Manage and maintain trade receivable accounts.

· Record and post daily cash receipts (cash, checks, ACH, and wires) in the accounting system timely.

· Collect and follow up collections on the receivable invoices by due dates to avoid any bad debts.

· Follow up returns, chargebacks, and unknown payment deductions with customers.

· Communicate closely with shipping and customer service departments to get information about shipments and returns to properly process and record invoices and RMA forms.

· Take ownership of customers’ issues and resolve problems with common sense.

· Perform account reconciliations and generate monthly AR reports.

· Analyze statistics and compile reports for management as needed.

· Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly financial analysis.

· Assist in month-end and year-end financial statements close.

· Assist with enhancing/developing finance and accounting processes and procedures.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

5+ year working experiences in accounting field dealing with Big Box Retailers

Accounts Receivable Supervisor is in charge of directing all Accounts Receivable functions and processes. Manage collection activities while ensuring timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers. Maintain accurate records and control reports. Oversee a staff of Administrators/Clerks.

General Accountabilities

  • Assigning tasks to the accounts receivable team in agreement with the accounting department’s goals
  • Overseeing timely collection of payments
  • Monitoring invoicing procedures
  • Performing credit checks
  • Interacting with customers in non-payment cases
  • Creating and keeping records of invoices٫ bills٫ and deposits
  • Forecasting monthly٫ quarterly and annual results and creating reports on them
  • Ensuring that all accounts receivable procedures are in compliance with legal regulations
  • Overseeing accounts receivable team performs in agreement with accounting principles
  • Providing support to Accounts Receivable Clerks on their daily tasks
  • Training new team members
  • Follow changes and trends in industry niche and related legal regulations

Job Qualifications

  • 3+ years' experience of working on an Accounts Receivable Manager or Supervisor position
  • Experience of working with Big-box Retails Accounts.
  • Excellent experience with accounting software
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel
  • Experience of working with large amounts of data
  • Strong analytical and presentational skills
  • Strong team management٫ negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Confidentiality and responsibility
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification will be a bonus
