Westfield Electroplating Company is looking for an Accounts Receivable/Payable Coordinator candidate to join our business team.

This position will work closely with our office staff including President, Vice President, and outside Accountant. This individual must be a team player with a strong business and accounting background.

As an Accounts Receivable and Payable Coordinator, you will be assigned administrative, organizational, and analysis tasks to monitor the financial health of the business.

An ideal candidate is resourceful, ambitious and solutions oriented. Candidates with experience working within a family business dynamic, and in a manufacturing-environment are strongly encouraged to apply.

Preferred Schedule:

  • Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Essential Functions:

  • Support our business office in department assignments and tasks
  • Coordinate and prepare reports, including financial statements, for review by the President and Vice President; can summarize, interpret, and present as necessary
  • Electronic Business Banking
  • Meets accounting financial standards by monitoring expenditures, identifying significant variances, and implementing accountability
  • Reconciles accounting inaccuracies or imbalances; improves organization financial conditions by analyzing financial reports and variances
  • Assists on month-end reports as needed
  • Assists with preparation for audits as needed
  • Fill in as necessary within the purchasing department
  • Follow up with customers on overdue balances
  • Maintain the COD accounts
  • Maintain Credit Applications
  • Bank reconciliation back-up

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in business major, preferably Accounting, required
  • Industry experience in manufacturing preferred
  • Experience with advanced electronic business banking preferred
  • Experience with QuickBooks required
  • Experience with data analysis and extraction tools preferred
  • Cost accounting experience preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel required
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must possess excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • High attention to detail required
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Reliable transportation
