We are actively seeking an Accounts Receivable Coordinator in the Columbus, OH area to join our award WINNING team.

Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 7am-4:00pm MUST be willing to be flexible as jobs may change


Position Responsibilities for the Accounts Receivable Coordinator:

  • Depositing checks
    • Collect all incoming checks that come through Fedex or USPS
    • Sort checks by divisions
    • Verify correct division by using A/R reports, invoice #’s, etc.
    • Group or split checks within division as needed or required
    • Deposit checks by division using Remote Deposit Capture through current bank/ vendor

  • Receipting of deposited items into accounting system
    • Verifying discrepancies – What was paid vs billed
    • Work with office managers on discrepancies and make sure necessary corrections are made
    • Enter deposit
  • Supervising AR department and processes
    • Mentoring and training employees in the department.
    • Supervising the A/R department
    • Supporting A/R Clerks in their daily tasks
  • Informing Division Managers, Controllers, and Assistant Controllers on past-due accounts
    • Keeping the management informed about any particular issues
    • Streamlining the payment process and making necessary improvements
    • Reviewing and monitoring any disputed invoices for resolution
    • Verifying that all payments have been properly posted

Minimum Qualification for the Accounts Receivable Coordinator:

  • 2 years of experience as an A/R Coordinator position or similar role
  • Very good understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures in a timely manner
  • Proficient data entry skills
  • Proficient with Excel and other MS Office programs
  • 2 years of experience with accounting software
  • Previous Leadership experience
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must adhere to company screening process
