Robert Half is trying to fill an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk position with an organization that offers a stimulating work environment among a team of experienced, motivated professionals. This position works closely and reports to the Accounting Manager and handles all general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department. Matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are integral functions for this position. Your responsibilities in this role

• Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners
• Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed
• Help with internal and external audits as required
• Organize, register, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
• Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks
• Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily
• Carry out additional tasks as assigned
• Accomplish full-cycle A/P
• Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling
• Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
• Proficient with spreadsheets and databases
• Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement
• AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
• Articulate customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
• Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Comprehensive knowledge of QuickBooks
