Accounts Payable Associate Job at Tandym Group
A services firm located in Florida is actively seeking an analytical and driven professional to join their staff as an Accounts Payable Associate. In this role, the Accounts Payable Associate will support full cycle accounts payable and employee expense report auditing, including invoice review, coding to proper GL accounts, and securing of workflow approvals.

- Processing of accounts payables multi-currency invoices through various operating ledgers
- Creating new accounts payable suppliers and maintaining current supplier information in ERP system
- Resolution of inquiries from vendors, contractors, or field employees on payments
- Month-end closing invoice accruals or reclassifications of incorrect costs to P&L through general ledger
- Monthly reconciliation of general Ledger balance sheet accounts for assigned area
- Auditing of system selected expense reports using the Oracle system
- Resolving and assisting with employee questions regarding Travel and Expense Policy reimbursement policy and resolution expense policy violations
- Providing AP vendor invoice documentation or details to practice controllers as needed during the month-end P&L review process
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 3+ years of full cycle accounts payable experience
- Knowledge of General Ledger Chart of Account and accruals
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping concepts and practices
- Experience with financial applications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Good understanding of the A/P functions of accounting software
- Good understanding of the General Ledger chart of accounts
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
