With a client service focus, provide administrative and clerical support for the Commercial Management Finance and Accounting function of the Organization. This key function includes processing a high volume of cash receipts and monitoring accounts receivable. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure the Organization’s finances are accurate and up to date, and that client accounts reflect the correct balances.
Essential Functions:
Apply bank deposits / lockboxes and updates accounts receivable tenant ledger by entity on a daily basis.
Partner with property management to determine the application and processing of open credits and unapplied payments on tenant accounts.
Apply non-tenant cash receipts as needed.
Upload charges for invoices to tenants.
Perform reconciliations of tenant accounts as requested by client, tenant or property management.
Maintain a 24 hour response time to Accounts Receivable inquiries.
Monitor bank accounts on a daily basis for activity and notify responsible parties of wires and auto debits to be recorded in the system.
Perform monthly prepayment applications.
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested to assist the Accounting/Finance function in providing excellent client services to investors, management, and other functional areas of the organization.
Perform month end close by reviewing reports for accuracy prior to posting to the general ledger.
Perform other related duties as needed to assist the Accounting team in providing excellent customer support for investors, management, and other areas within the organization.
