POSITION: Accounting Technician
LOCATION: Corporate Office - Franklin, TN
HOURS: Full-Time, 40 hours, Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM
SALARY: $50k-$55k

In return for your education, experience, and skills, you will be highly compensated. Employees are encouraged to use the Professional Development program to further their professional skills. This 40 hour Monday-Friday Accounting Clerk position is based in Franklin, TN.
Essential functions of Accounting Clerk:
- Prepare month end Balance Sheet recons as assigned
- Prepare standard month-end journal entries for QuickBooks IBNR, including IBNR accrual and Reconciliation
- Pool Reconciliation
- Claims: Review bills for appropriateness based on individual contracts
- Claims: Re-price inmate medical claims per network provider terms
- Claims: Data entry of claims in Access database
- Reconcile hours over / under contract
- Pharmacy: Review Correct RX and IHS pharmacy bills for authorized expenditures
- Pharmacy: Send to county representative for appropriateness
- Pharmacy: Adjust bills for proper classification
- Miscellaneous projects or reports as required by management.
- Any and all other duties as assigned.
- 2+ years of related experience
- Strong Microsoft Office, Internet, and email skills
- QuickBooks experience preferred
- Active CPR certification
