Miami Beef is hiring an Accounting Assistant for a full-time position in Hialeah, FL!
As an Accounting Assistant, you will be well-organized and comfortable dealing with financial data. You will be reporting directly to the CFO and be responsible for day-to-day accounts payable and receivable activities, in addition to conducting other tasks related to finance. An ideal Bookkeeper should be a self-starter, excellent at recording data with attention to detail, and have the ability to work with a diverse international team.

Job Requirements:
Enter invoices and credit card expenses into the ERP system
Reconcile vendor statements against open invoices
Record customer payments into the ERP, researching payment discrepancies and submitting payment claims
Ensure timely processing of payroll
Prepare bi-weekly Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable reports
Assist with bank reconciliations
Assist with month-end close procedures, prepare monthly sales broker commission reports, and assist with annual audits
Qualifications:
- Fluent in English
- High school diploma or GED
- 7+ years of experience in related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and can quickly learn new technologies
- Bookkeeping experience in the food industry or with retail customers preferred
