At Redpath, we continue to grow and our Accounting & Management Outsourcing Services (AMO) team is looking for a full-time Fractional CFO to support our clients. Our Fractional CFOs typically work directly with a number of clients simultaneously, on a one or two day(s) per week basis, at the client site. THIS IS A LOCAL MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL POSITION - YOU MUST LIVE IN THE TWIN CITIES AREA TO BE CONSIDERED.

You will assist our clients with:

• Strategic plan consulting
• Financial and tax strategy consulting
• Banking relationship assistance
• Insurance and risk review
• Board, auditor, and investor relations assistance
• Coaching/mentoring
• Metrics/KPI development
• Financial statement reporting
• Budgeting and cash forecasting
• Audit preparation
• Analysis and implementation of internal controls and other best practices
• Month-end close procedures

What you will need to be successful:

• Must live in the Minneapolis/St. Paul vicinity
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• CPA / public accounting experience highly preferred
• Ten+ years of total experience as a CFO and Controller with recent experience as a CFO
• Construction and manufacturing industry experience highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Experience with income taxes and planning
• Experience with multiple general ledger software packages
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to work effectively both on a team and independently
• Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong verbal and communication skills
• Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
• Ability to travel to local client sites
